Maurizio Manzieri's computer-generated artworks have been shown in several conventions and digital exhibits abroad. Recently he was appointed Artist Guest of Honor at Expocartoon, with a solo exhibit in the 'Palazzo della Civiltà del Lavoro' in Rome.

The Digital Arts Studio, based in Italy and funded by Maurizio Manzieri in 1988, has been attending all the main European festivals, particularly Frankfurt and Angouleme. In 2003 ASFA, the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists of America appointed him Deputy European Director of the organization.

Among his renowned clients can be ranked: Mondadori, Tea Edizioni, Fanucci, Editrice Nord, Rizzoli, Delos Books, Dario Flaccovio Editore, Interzone, Quarto Publishing, Vittorio Pavesio Productions, Virtual Views, and The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, where he's one of the official cover artists for the historical publication.

Among his achievements, he was the winner of the 1999 'First Annual Tangent Online Favorite Magazine Cover Poll' and the 2000 and 2002 Italia Award as Best Professional Artist. In 2003 conquered two of the most prestigious Awards in the fantastic field: the [B]Europe Award[/B] delivered by the European Science Fiction Society, as Best European Illustrator, and the [B]Chelsey Award[/B] from the Association of Science Fiction and Fantastic Artist in the category of Best Monochrome Artwork. His illustrations have been included in the [B]Spectrum[/B] collection, the Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art, by Underwood Books.
